Top contributors rankings

To recognize the members of Fotopedia, most active at building the encyclopedia, we feature them in several rankings:

• Top recent contributors on the community page
• Article top contributors on any article
• Top contributors during a contest

Your ranking is based on your activity and its quality. Here are a few tips to increase it:

Be active

When you add a photo to the encyclopedia and vote, it will impact your ranking. The ranking on the community page looks at your activity on all the encyclopedia. The article ranking is based only on photos and votes in this article. The contest ranking is the sum of the activity in all the articles in the scope of the contest.

Be sharp

Your ranking increases each time someone votes positively for a photo you added or voted for. If you vote for a candidate photo that makes it to the top your ranking will increase more than if you vote for a photo already in the top. Your ranking will also decrease when someone votes negatively for photos you added or voted for. So sharpen your eyes to identify great photos. And feel free to call for votes on photos you add or vote for to get your friends to increase your ranking.
