Saint Peter's Basilica

A statue of Saint Longinus holding his spear near the Baldachin in Saint Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. Saint Longinus was the Roman soldier who pierced the side of Christ with a spear during the Crucifixion and later converted to Christianity.
