From monastry top... we could view the magnificient lake manasarovar and the guesthouse we stayed in for a day before we proceded to Kailash base camp, Darchen. Lake Manasarovar is at a height of 4550 mts (14950 feet) above the sea-level, with a circumference of about 88 km and a depth of nearly 90 m, covering an area of about 320 sq. Km.
