The Banded Pennant (Celithemis fasciata) is a dragonfly found in North America, in the Pennant genus of dragonflies. The extensive, sharply defined black markings on its wings are distinctive, though the pattern varies considerably; individuals from the northern part of its range tend to have less wing coloration.
It is small, being about 33 mm (1.3 in). It lives around ponds, lakes, and sand bottom lakes ditches.
