This is a 1950 DeSoto 2dr custom Convertible Coupe. S-14 SEries. The cars appears to be an older restoration. It is a nice lite Brown Fawn Color and with a tan or lite brown convertible top. The car is a very pretty car. The paint is in good condition with some chips and cracks that are not noticeable till close inspection. The car is complete and straight. There is no visible rust. the trim is very nice. The car has a flathead 6 cylinder motor with dual horns. it is a fluid Drive Transmission with column shift. The car turns over and runs and drives good. The car has wide whitewalls and huccaps. The tires are decent. The interior is also a mix of restored and original. the dash is complete and in nice condition. There is an AM radio, heater, clock. the dash is nice but there is a broken lens on the clock. The seats are recovered in a white and butterscotch colored vinyl -nagahide material. There are no visible tears. It has brown carpet in decent condition. the door panels are also in decent condition. They have been done with matching material. the glass is good. there are 55,136 miles on the odomter. It is a manual top and manual windows and locks. It is a very pretty car.
This would be a good addition to any collection.
