UNLV Science and Engineering LEED Certified Building
With the assistance of a donation by NV Energy, UNLV developed a new undergraduate educational program in sustainble energy that will be offered to students beginning in the Fall 2009 semester. The tour provided an inside look at one of the first LEED certified buildings on UNLV's campus, and an opportunity to hear from faculty and students affiliated with the program.

John David Podesta (born January 8, 1949) was the fourth and final White House Chief of Staff under President Bill Clinton, from 1998 until 2001. He is the former president and now Chair and Counselor of the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank in Washington, D.C., and is also a Visiting Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center. Podesta was a co-chairman of the Obama-Biden Transition Project.
