Cosmopolitan

In 1996 Dale DeGroff of the Rainbow Rooms Manhattan took the recipe for a little known cocktail tweeked it with his own expert style and the rest is as they say is history.

That cocktail was the Cosmopolitan, today after the classic Martini it is probably the most well know cocktail in the world.

Cosmopolitan (Dale's Recipe)

1 1/2 parts citron vodka
1/2 part Cointreau
1/4 part fresh lime juice
1 part cranberry juice

Shake over ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with a piece of flamed orange peel.
