A fruity fun martini recipe the Raspberry Martini I have discovered from the internets has many variatons, this one is mine.
Raspberry Martini
2 parts vodka (frozen as always)
1 dash fresh lemon juice
1 part raspberry syrup.
shake all the ingredients over ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
garnish with 2 or 3 raspberries placed into the bottom of the glass before the liquid.
To make raspberry syrup add one cup of caster sugar to one cup of boiling water over heat. Once all the sugar has disolved add 150 grams of raspeberries and simmer until all broken down. Double strain the syrup to remove all seed, a lot of work I know but it's worth it.
