Shigeo Maruyama is the super charismatic former Sony Music Entertainment CEO and former Sony Computer Entertainment CEO who got the Playstation project started. He let me play with the Playstation when it was still a blue prototype with no games.

Shigeo Maruyama (丸山 茂雄) (born 1941 in Tokyo) is the founder of Epic/Sony Records, former chairman of Sony Computer Entertainment and former CEO of Sony Music Entertainment. He is known for discovering artists such as Motoharu Sano and Tetsuya Komuro.
