Fauchon
Fauchon is a French gourmet food company that was founded in 1886 by Auguste Fauchon. Fauchon currently produces tea, chocolate, biscuits and sweets among other products. Originally a street vendor, then a wine merchant, Auguste Fauchon created the company that bears his name in 1886. He developed the Fauchon store in Paris, France, on Place de la Madeleine in the 8th arrondissement.

Lanvin
Lanvin is a high fashion house founded by Jeanne Lanvin. Lanvin made such beautiful clothes for her daughter that they began to attract the attention of a number of wealthy people who requested copies for their own children. Soon, Lanvin was making dresses for their mothers, and some of the most famous names in Europe were included in the clientele of her new boutique on the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris. In 1909, Lanvin joined the Syndicat de la Couture, which marked her formal status as a couturière.
