Ian is currently living and working as a freelance photographer in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A great place for photography, good weather, friendly people, cheap to live and a central position in Asia.
Ian was Born in Warrington, Cheshire, UK in 1954 and was educated at Richard Fairclough School for Boys and Manchester Metropolitan University. He has an Honors Degree in Health Care. He worked for the Health Service and the Armed Forces.
His interest in photography started in the 1970's and developed into a passion that has never diminished.
On his retirement from his full time job he made the decision to move to Asia, specifically Cambodia, and follow his long term dream of becoming a full time photographer and writer. He continues to work towards this goal. His subjects are people and landscapes/seascapes and he loves to tell the story of a place in pictures.
