I got into photography about ten years ago. Started with a Minolta 7000, then three years ago changed to a DSLR Nikon D60 but now have a D7000. I enjoy traveling around the world seeing beautiful places and meeting people from different cultures. Being a 3rd generation Canadian and hearing stories of homelands from people who moved to Canada makes me want to see all of those places. Having joined Fotopedia and seeing images of places I haven't been before makes me appreciate the artistic and natural beauty the photographer was trying to capture. Now that I have joined, it makes me look at the world around me as one grand photo-op. Keep the camera close at hand!
