Trained as an art historian, Alfred has a unique point of view that combines a “painterly” quality with a humanistic accent on people. He specializes in photo journalistic and travel photography. His passion is black and white, capturing the beauty of everyday life. Africa is his favorite continent for photography. He works almost exclusively with the Leica, uses 50mm and 35mm lenses more than telephoto, and his main photographic tool is a Leica M3-P with Noctilux-M 50mm, 0.95 and a Leica S2 with 35 and 70mm lenses.
