Esposende (Portuguese pronunciation: [(ɨ)ʃpɔˈzẽd(ɨ)]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 95.4 km² and a total population of 34,625 inhabitants. The city itself has a population of 9,197.
The municipality is composed of 15 parishes, and is located in Braga District.
The present Mayor is Fernando Couto Cepa, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
