Gmünd in Kärnten (Slovene: Sovodenj) is a town in the district of Spittal an der Drau, in the Austrian state of Carinthia. The municipality is situated within the valley of the Lieser river, a left tributary of the Drava, at the eastern slope of the Hohe Tauern mountain range.
