Rosate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 20 km southwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,116 and an area of 18.7 km².
The municipality of Rosate contains the frazione (subdivision) Cavoletto (Località).
