Santoña is situated in the Autonomic region of Cantabria at the north of Spain in the Altlantical Coast. The nearest towns are at the West side Noja, and at the East Laredo. Of specific importance are the marshland of Santoña, known as the Santoña Victoria and Joyel Natural Park is formed by the mouth of the Rio Ason and the Mont Buciero at the entrance of Santoña´s bay.
